HOW TO PRAY FOR OTHERS

Interceding for other people in prayer is a call for every Christian. By praying for others we unite our hearts in a special bond with the people we are praying for through the Holy Spirit. Intercessory prayer helps us to build bridges between God the people we pray for. Jesus did the same while he was here and still intercedes for us with the Father and the Holy Spirit. “if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins.”[1John 2:1-2 ] Before you intercede for someone, forgive any grudge that’s in your heart: “But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.” –Mark 11:25
